I had the pleasure of creating a series of videos for Tidal’s Furniture Store Blackwood, with a festive focus on Christmas in-store. The video content focused on connecting the story of the business with the people behind it, while visually capturing the colour, warmth, and variety that fill the store at that time of year. From beginning to end, I had discussions with Huw, the owner, and we established exactly what sort of content would work this time of year to showcase his store and what separated it from the competition.

​This turned out to be that Tidal's is a long-running store in Blackwood with a rich history, offering hand-picked furniture throughout the year, especially at Christmas, with a strong focus on detail. I laid out a social media content strategy and scheduled everything for optimal times of the month, and the engagement we saw on all of the content we posted was incredible, showing thousands of views and a heavy engagement from the people of Blackwood. Meaning our approach of focusing on local connections and historical storytelling did what it intended to. Looking forward to building on this relationship and further collaboration with Tidal's in the future.
